Californië to Hawaii

With a distance of more than 2450 nautical miles, the Pacific Ocean Race is one of world's toughest rowing races. Teams will be entirely self supported and unassisted from the start in Montery Bay until the finishing line in Hawaii.

Our team 'Dutch Courage' will be challenged, physically, mentally and emotionally, by the greatest force on Earth: the Ocean. Sleep deprivation, physical and mental fatigue, salt sores, weight loss and the forces of nature will challenge our will to breaking point. We will be at one with our boat, and closer to our team mates than we ever thought possible. But every pull of the oar will bring us closer to the biggest sense of achievement we could ever imagine.

A RACE UNLIKE ANY WE'VE EXPERIENCED BEFORE...
